Im sure we all heard the talking points from western who like to try and distance themselves from the “backwards” Muslims. Trying to pretend that western thought was never inspired by the works of Muslim and the strong connection of philosophical ideas never existed.
Greek thought was preserved by muslims and they expanded from it and during the enlightenment westerners built off the work of muslims.
The western world is not a enclosed space where everything they had was created by their own genius.
The U.S. Supreme Court honors Prophet Muhammad as one of the greatest law givers in history.
Harvard University Law School recognizes the Qur’an as one of the leading books for justice in the world.
Yet people say “Islam is incompatible with U.S. values.”
In my mind i think of it as one roads with two different paths. Muslim nations stuck with their religion and values whilst Western nations abandoned their christian values when their material wealth increased.
