Islam and the Possibilities of Peace | Mohammed Hijab | The Jordan B. Peterson Podcast - S4: E66

well that was very embarrassing , why did he invite this little boy instead of an intelligent scholar like Yasir Qadhi. This guy was only there to argue with Jordan and not to convince, very poor arguments as well. Somebody tell him that he’s not an intellectual, he does not deserve to speak with Jordan, let him stick to the streets dawa or whatever he does. Its a bit harsh but Mohammed Hijab is an arrogant guy who doesn’t speak for muslims, not the intelligent muslims at least.

Let Hijab stick to debating unemployed teenagers in speakers corners. What an embarrassment. Muslim world has far better qualified debaters that could silence Jordan Peterson.

Jordan Peterson is a horrible debater that stat pads his debates by picking easy fights.

This is one of them.

Edit: dude wtf, how is Mohammed Hijab a triple master holder and an Oxford alumnus.

It was a nice discussion & Jordan was very passive to begin with, but overall a top discussion. Many more to come :manny:

He is cut from the same cloth as Hamza Tzortzis who was the Mo Hijab of the 2010s. Both are pseudo intellectual who just posture to miskeen teenagers who want to learn about the deen but go to these hackjobs because they have that "youtube personality". Instead proper knowledgeable people like Yasir Qadhi and co.. are seen as boring. Mo Hijab and His sidekick the one that cried about being rejected by a somali (God bless her father) are a stain in the dawah scene in the UK.

The irony of this statement is that Jordan Peterson is the king of of pseudo intellectuals who repackages old school conservative ideals to late teen/early 20s males who lack a direction in life.
But I don't completely diagree on the Mohammed hijab bit.
All in all it was an interesting discussion between the two men.

Yasir qadhi is nowhere near a scholar

Credit to both men, surprisingly this was a cordial and sincere discussion. Jordan Peterson should re-invite Sh. Hamza Yusuf to make up for repeat cancelations.
