It’s easy to cry or show emotion when it’s a degree removed, she may have felt sad but not to the degree as when her mother passed.
And the death wasn’t so much about her as it was about Whitney Houston, everyone was sad so in a way it allowed her to show vulnerability because people were grieving in the collective.
However her mother that’s personal, she’s not famous (that I know off) she is an extension of her
So people don’t see her as Shirley Williams she is her mother, indicating Wendy may have a problem with trust, maybe due to pass trauma it could be a number of issues tbh
Being blasé is an age old protective mechanism.
