Im Somali households with female daughters, they pick on one and crush her self esteem even the mother joins in and favours the other daughters and calls them smarter then the other and watch as the daughter cries and says she wants to end her life ?

Somali households are full of banter and there is no filter but nothing that leads to a sibling committing suicide...that shit commonly happens in fragile cadaan households...

I agree and targeted abuse should not be tolerated but the person that made the topic was exaggerating a lil bit...what he stated isnt a common Somali household practice...it's a baseless generation.

Whether its common or not i can't say. In my family though , my parents would never put one child over the other.

end her life tf is wrong with the mother, I understand kid insulting each other but mother joining, I imagine she's horrible mother
