He’s not even a stepfather lol. He wasn’t married to her xataa. But he took responsibility for them when they moved in with him. He should have given her a deadline to move out by and threatened her with police, family involvement or public shaming if it came down to it. I think the most gentleman thing for him to do was give her money for a motel/hotel for a few days until she could get her kids a safe place to live.
