It would make sense for somali to have a measurement system native or not.

Some of the Ethiopian measurements sound similar to Somali measurements which could point to a native system.

I think if we have got geometric names for these shapes, esp. 'gumbur' and 'sedjibeke' then surely we do have methods of measurements, which might have been lost.
