I think the sahaba couldn't even imagine what type of sins that happens today.
Sex reassignment surgery isn't even mentioned in the Quran or any Hadith, its beyond imagination and impossible to classify what type of sin it is.
People of Lut are saints compared to what we have today.

If the world didn't have to end at a set point predetermined years ago. I'd say the punishment would have killed us with them.

Why should the West be punished? The world loves its power and wealth in their hearts. No one seriously cares at all about the price with which ease is purchased. To curse it or wish punishment for it is to attack the God we all worship. In fact, the curse will be upon the accuser because they are nothing more than hypocrites.

In what sense? Many European countries are better than Muslim countries. They help the poor with large welfare states, treat those of I’ll heath for free, support the elderly through care homes, house the homeless, invest in their children’s human development, create societies free of racial/sexual/religious oppression, give aid to poor African and Asian nations and welcome those fleeing from war and poverty.
Many European countries practise alot of the values Islam preaches. While they lack in certain aspects they indeed have built societies where the individual is allowed to practise the Xuriyad Allah has bestowed upon humans.
You can be as pious as you want or as sinful as your lowerself desires. Truly free and admirable societies. But the french égalite(forced atheism) gaining traction in the West is bit concerning.
