I've always been somewhat progressive most of my life. Even though I've gone through a Somali nationalist phase I still consider myself a progressive.

In regards to relationships:

Honestly being an openly conservative nigga only seems worth it if you got money. Women will still f*ck with you even if your an ignorant ass nigga

A lot of women in the west really don't respect broke conservative niggas. The only ones that would consider listening to you are broke conservative women. These chicks would be the main ones in your dating pool and spoiler alert but most of these chicks are dumb. These chicks only find thugs, musicians, athletes, and rich niggas attractive. If your not any of those archetypes, than you will most likely be hoeless until you start making money.

I wish more Somali parents valued athletics. Putting your sons into sports at an early age solves like 99% of the incel problem

I played on different basketball teams when I was younger and my brother did martial arts. Sports keep you physically fit, and helps build good social skills

Parents need to play an active role in their kids hobbies. When they don’t they run the risk of having kids who just play video games all day, are chronically online, or are into crime

I have seen how sports turns youngsters into responsible people down the line. Things like chess or learning how to play an instrument are helpful.

When it comes to deen, the father should be a good role model in the house. Take your sons to fajr prayer, teach them how to read Arabic, learn the quran together and have weekly dhikr sessions in your house with treats and beautiful nasheeds. You can also get an individual tutor to teach them Arabic, memorisation of the quran and tajweed.

Children should also learn about healthy diet and boys should be taught about the dangers of ography and sexualising the mind during puberty. Somali parents hardly do any of these things. They tend to shy away from any taboo subjects hoping that things will miraculously solve themselves.
