This map claims that Somalia is one of the countries with the highest rate of modern slavery.
I was shocked and thought this was mainly related to tahrib human trafficking for immigration which is bad but isn't exactly slavery. Turns out the UN migration agency says somalis litteraly enslave each other for the purpose of domestic labour, organ trafficking and prostitution.
The article claims it's a widespread problem in Somaliland and Somalia, there are examples of women kidnapping children to sell them. Is this something you were aware of? Is this an accurate description? Recently the story of Mo Farah sounds a lot like what the article is describing

This map doesnt make any sense. There are very high levels of unemployment in somalia if anything people are not working so how exactly are they enslaved? Just goes to show you that these NGOS are absolutely useless and don't even understand the root problems in the country.

NGOs and the UN are intent on spreading falsehoods about Somalia so that they can raise money to sort these "issues" out.

Just like with the false 99% of women having gone through FGM stat, they will exaggerate, manipulate and invent blatant lies.

If we had a functional government, they would push back on this harmful narrative but instead we have corrupt skinfolk collaborating with these demons to paint our country in a bad light.
