Is Marriage failed in the west? Should you wife a women who has multiple partners/ phase?

So I run a somewhat big anime group(based on the show Inuyasha) and made a lot of friends(women/men). They usually come to me with their issues and some of the women told me about their promisicious pasts yet are married.

I have one friend who cheated on his spouse and kissed another woman(They were dealing with marriage issues already).

Another friend caught feelings for me and told me about her "ho phase". I lowkey feel bad for her finacee because that relationship is doomed. They already have 1 kid.
