Is Liechtenstein truly a country?

Can we really say that Liechtenstein is a sovereign state in practice when:
- it forms a customs union with Switzerland
- it uses the Swiss franc as its own currency
- it doesn't have it's own military and therefore the defence of Liechtenstein is the responsibility of.....you guessed it it's Switzerland
- Switzerland is responsible for the foreign policy of Liechtenstein and Swiss diplomatic missions including embassies are in reality the missions for Liechtenstein too as they look out for Liechtenstein citizens as well as Swiss citizens

The internal autonomy Liechtenstein has could be copied by Somalia and Somaliland each. Likewise the de facto sovereignty Switzerland has over Liechtenstein, the Somaliweyn Union confederal authorities could copy and also wield over both Somaliland and Somalia

What do you think of further subdividing Somalia/Somaliland into the 18 gobols, each with its own governor:

If it was ever possible to do, do you think this would be a viable way to curb tribalism and inspire regionalism in Somalis? I feel it could work in the sense that there'd be opportunistic locals in each gobol who could be courted with the idea of suddenly having a fair amount of power (being the numero uno second only to the federal government) instead of being a number 2-10 man in one of these larger, largely tribe based, federal states.

The way to do that is at the district level with the same clan/subclan with political competition between cousins who have strong ties to each other and every candidate knowing he cant get far with further dividing his subclan. But Afweyne gerrymandered map has to be reworked how did Gedo get 7 districts but only 3 districts for Sanaag, and the 1960s maps were also flawed as they were drawn by Italy and Italian trained Southerners
