we can make fun of people being worried about this.... but honestly I think it is the fault of this culture where they've normalized homoism. you can just be friends with some other guy and there is this potential of having to worry about coming across as gay if you're just friendly.
I mean for example.... in some of the countries, it's perfectly normal for two men to hold hands. actual homo stuff is strictly cracked down on and so men can be friends with each other without having that concern because it's so uncommon.
