Let me relate to you a story . A close family friend was the kindest man you could ever know. He always adhered to the Somali tradition of helping tribal relatives back home and family members in the west. Recent he would always send money to who ever needed it without asking. Recently this family friend came to us complaining about how he did all these good things and always treated ppl fairly and when he experienced financial difficulty....even his own family refused to help him once. We could not believe that his family would be so nasty and he told us that you never truly know how ppl are until you need help.

Is it worth being blindly kind to ppl these days.

Walaahi it would have been kinder for the man to have had brothers than sister. His sister's are selfish and only care about their own children, while this man was nearly starving. Imagine leaving your nephews and nieces to starve like that, and this is a man that always helped them.

If he didn’t save money and spent or gave away every penny, then he’s stupid and urgently requires to seek help. He should be very careful with his money and save for the dry season. Only those who can help themselves can help others.
