Is Ahmed Madoobe misunderstood ?

From what I read he doesn't seem corrupt as people claim to be appears to oppose the corruption of HSM's government.


He claims the federal government:

• Uses aid and development funds as political tools.
• Distributes resources selectively to regions based on political loyalty rather than need.
• Interferes in local development initiatives without coordinating with state authorities.

• Tries to manipulate regional elections.
• Interferes in the selection of regional parliaments and leaders.
• Uses political pressure and security forces to favor preferred candidates.

The way I see it HSM and FGS are the bad guys, knowing the corruption of HSM, for example putting his fellow clansman back at the head of NISA even after major corruption scandals, this is very believable.

Also couldn't find anything to accuse Madoobe of corruption, correct me if I'm wrong.

I was very shocked to find how he staunchly rejected corruption, he refused bribes from Farmajo :

He is also running for president in 2026, I'm sure HSM won't let this slide tho.

We've seen first hand how he developed Kismayo after cutting off from the corrupt Gov. in Mogadishu, could he possibly do that for the whole of Somalia ?

None of the FMS are as bad as FGS but they are still woefully incompetent and corrupt in their own right. I would respect Madoobe a lot more if he actually did something against AS and wasn't reliant on Kenya for security.
