I’m considering getting a mortgage but I don’t think the Uk would be the right fit,the houses are too small , you could get a house 10x bigger for the same price in America
Where me and my descendants can live for decades to come

I wouldn’t bro, planning on leaving this shit hole myself. Thinking of either going to Australia or New Zealand, houses look a lot better and are cheaper from what I’ve heard.

Your descendants won't even look like you in 2-3 generations if you continue to live amongst cadaans, that's even if you're lucky to be alive during the oncoming genocide by the far right.

I would advise you don't get in to usury, better for you to head South or East and leave your legacy there.

Mortgage is haram and the interest is crazy, you'll be paying for the rest of your life. It doesn't help that house prices are crazy, even more so when you compare it to the salaries. There really is no point in buying in London but it's different if you live in other cities of course.

Depends if you want to live there. It is statistically easier to get a house in America without a mortgage due to lower prices and higher salaries and they also have interest free Islamic mortgages. Their values barely increase though.

Mortgage will tie your leg to the uk/shaqo for the next 30 years . No impulsive holidays, no whim decisions, no moving countries. Just hella stress and responsibility .
Only place where you and your ciyaal can happily live is in your own land .

The Whites gonna kick you off in 20 years anyways.

And getting a mortgage means you've decided to tie yourself to this land and remain here. Most us diaspora somali won't have our descendants be Somalis after a few generations anyways unless there's a mass return to Somalia after a new good government is restored.

In its simplest form, do it straight away, however in the real estate market, size matters less than location in the greater scheme of things, esp. as your first property. I would not advise you to go after a large property, for its repair, maintenance, and upkeep shall drain your resources, unless of course you are planning to do it all yourself, in which case even better.

Let me ask: How much acquainted are you with the construction industry? Do you know truss from studs, or 1/2" sheetrock from 5/8" drywall? Are you looking for a residential home to reside in? I am assuming it is your first property, if so, I would advise you to consider investment property instead from which you could generate steady cash inflow. What boroughs are you targeting?

Postscript:
Real estate market in the US is still prime, albeit is saturated almost reaching its equilibrium, and is still profitable, but one has to carry out own research as to which markets i.e. State, commercial or otherwise, land or otherwise, long-term tenancy or otherwise etc.
