IOG & Bixi trying to ignite war between Ciise and Samaroon

The Ciise essentially declared war on the Samaroon subs in Saylac and Lughaya districts.

It started with the Ciise hosting a grand conference in Jidhi village of Saylac district with participants attending from Djibouti and Shinile, most likely funded by IOG, with his collaborator Bixi. After the conference, they released several points. These points covered many things, but the main point being the vacating of villages that they deem belong to them alone, and some they even want vacated in under two days. With also the request of the local councils and military officials given to them. They're basically asking for impossible things.

The entire 'document' appears to be written in an illiterate and unserious manner, but at least the Isaaq media pages captured video footage of the war declaration and plastered it all over. It's their wet dream to watch us fight, after all.

In response, the Bahabar Celi subclan held a conference in Heemaal, approximately 5km away from Jidhi. They reached an agreement to take up arms and declared their readiness for war.

The Reer Dudub, Jibril Yonis are holding a conference in Xariirad and will possibly make the same conclusion as the Bahabar Celi.

Another widescale conference will also be under way and will be held in Saylac by Samaroon subs. Something the Ciise could not do.

The two days they planned for the villages to be vacated actually ends several hours ago. Samaroon subs have been situated on the river beds for Ciise to go through with what they've said, but it looks like it's been a total failure.

Hours later and no coverage on the Bahabar Celi response on the Isaaq media pages. It's very fascinating. It's almost as if they were pushing Ciise to do something, but Ciise couldn't fulfill it.

Hopefully, the tensions/rhetorics doesn't lead to an armed conflict, as it's in no ones interest to choose that path.

But I don't even understand what any third party would gain from instigating? If IOG and Muuse Biixi are part of the plot, it could backfire on them in the long-run.

It's pretty straightforward. It's in Bixi's interest to turn every clan against each other while ensuring his own clan remain untouched and unchallenged. It also gives him more the reason to remain at his post. The more conflicts, the merrier! It's basically what MSB did before his demise; enflame clan warfare to last longer.

Not to mention, the economic threat posed by the Lawyacado corridor to his own clans and the development of Samaroon interests in the past 12 months that are deemed a political threat.

But really, the ciise clan lost a lot of lands, where they lived until the outskirts of Berbera in 1850

You have a point. In the context of SL, GB have already chosen to 'peace approach' despite their differences with the SL administration. And if Muuse Biixi decide to provoke GB into a war, and his role becomes apparent, it could lead to an uprising and turn into a direct/open resistance to SL.

This would make the Awdal state/cause more legitimate in the eyes of other Somalis and speed up the process into a reality. Which is why I said that it would backfire on him, despite his gains in the short run. But I don't expect Muuse to be the brightest person either considering how he's undone everything his predecessors has achieved over the decades, in less than one term :reallymaury:

I wouldn't say we have chosen the peace approach. It's been falsely forced on us so we don't rise and endanger the economic corridor. You won't ever hear a single Sammaron talking about nabad; in fact, they mock it. This is already a provocation, it's just not a direct one because he doesn't want his clan to be targeted, but instead is using the Ciise.

Somaliland is over, bro. My theory is Bixi's thinking ahead and planning on securing the future for his clan alone. He wants the Samaroon to be diverted from the economic corridor and have them look towards Ciise on an endless conflict like the clans in Toghdeer and Sool.

I've gotta say, it's pretty funny how they're welcoming Oromos under the Dir banner and trying to set real Dir on eachother. Villa Hargeisa has straight up madmen. Then they wonder why we support their enemies and rejoice at their demise.

Why you spreading misinformation and conspiracy theories ??

This issue isn't a new thing as you guys have one of the oldest rivalry hatred between you two clans in the Somali peninsula and it's stupid to suggest Biixi govt is behind it when his cabinet has prominent Samaroon faces in it so why will he ignite tribal war between them and Ciise Warabe that doesn't occupy any major position in the state except in the defense ministry which is actually a useless govt department

What's the end goal, why now? What's important about these villages?

The economic corridor you’re talking about Is this the road where sacad muse were trying to settle on a few years ago like they wanted to build a road there and you guys were against it?
