What types of interracial/intercultural marriage would most like work out in terms not a lot of cultural barriers. I’m for interracial/intercultural marriage but I don’t think it’s for everyone because marriage are supposed to be like community building, you are bring two families together. When it comes down to it I feel like Somali and arab/North African, Somali with any other East African and that’s it.

Most likely to work out?
Somali & Eritrean/Ethiopian/other East African. This is due to the simple fact that we look alike in terms of phenotype, share similar cultures and can assimilate with each other very fast and above all; we are next door neighbours.
Arab and Somali generally work out due to the religion/historical trade aspect but It is definitely not as seamless as an Somali/Eritrean intermarriage for example.

I think Somali arab would work out is well because we have similar cultures like Arabs have qabils and shit and I’ve seen more half Yemeni Somalis than half Ethiopian but I won’t lie race will be a big thing.
The whole of East Africa has "Qabiils" and as I said, they may work out well but won't beat a relationship between fellow East Africans. Also, you have seen more Yemeni/Somalis because both of those groups are displaced within the West. Back in Africa, you will see the reverse.
That’s actually True when I went back to Somalia and Djibouti, I saw more half oromos and afars than any other, but that’s intercultural what about interracial. Any Somali and white or Somali and Asian or Somalis Hispanic those will be the most challenging ones. Do you think we are moving into a new world where there’s more interracial relationships.

Most common Somali mix I’ve seen is somali and Yemeni so they must work out pretty well

Literally just depends on the two individuals and their families. Any kind of pairing can work out, honestly. I feel like people put too much emphasis on the girl's culture.

What's wrong with East Asians? Their culture seems decent, usually raise smart hardworking kids.

I guess a challenge for Somali + arab/Asian is racism.
Even if the girl/guy the Somali person is marrying is nice and not a racist, a lot of people the Arab/Asian family are likely to be anti black/African ( sometimes even if they are darker than the Somali which is the funniest thing to me). Unfortunately a marriage isn’t just the 2 people involved and it’s naïve to think that.

Really? I thought they do quite well. Virtually all the Somalis Stan Maya Jama. Same with other popular/famous half Somalis

Basically what she said, but also their culture is elite at producing robotic kids that lack nuance and succeed on paper. I wouldn't want to raise children that need to conform to their culture.

There are exceptions to every rule, they're also successful public figures. It's a probably a different story behind closed doors.
Even the ones I know where both sides of the family are supportive still struggle with the identity issues to some extent.
