I work retail and today I accidentally charged this indoyaar woman for a bag. She threw a fit and said she wanted her money back. So I gave it to her and it still wasn't enough. She haggled me for the extra 5 cents back. So I gave that to her and she was going on and on about how I charged her and I'm like lady I already gave you your money back wtf do you want man

Indhoyar like to save money but they aren't stingy. The cheapest people I ever met are Indians. They try every opportunity to save a penny even if they make good money as a doctor/engineer.

In mainland China, the idea of returning something for a refund is a foreign concept; I was in Foshan for training, wanted to buy a couple of shirts, as I left my luggage behind in Guangzhou, and could not find a shirt to fit me, with the average person being half of my size, esp. shoulders, and arms. I went through five stores, and could not find anything to fit, and finally settled for 3X China size, which looked close to fit, only to find out they were no-fit. I thought to return them, but they would neither refund nor let me leave the store. 'Sir, get anything you want, will even give you something for free, but no refund, please sir'. I just walked out with the shirts behind, granted the whole thing was less than a tenner.

So your encounter is no surprise.
