On a side note we should switch to Arabic. Latin looks disgusting for Somali IMO.

If we had a national education system, then yea. It's hard to read Somali in Latin. However its easy to read Somali in Arabic (something like Wadaad's writing). We have plenty of writing scripts like the Osmanya alphabet and the other ones.

I agree Arabic would be better but there's no need for this.

These Indonesians were using it for an indigenous language because the latin script was unsuitable for some of the complexities in the language. I don't think we have any issues like this.
