True walahi my father told me That one of his relatives went to Syria to study and found some Syrian people asking him if he is somali the guy said yes and they told him that their father is somali turns out that guy was from our same qabil and he left somalia in the 1950 and they were cousins

This Hindi is proud of his Somali roots unlike some full Somalis.

Also interesting to note that this guy is based in Hyderabad which in the 19th century (when his Somali ancestor arrived) was a semi-independent muslim state (princely state) during the raj and it was the most prosperous state in India till partition.

On a side note, the Muslim culture of Hyderabad and Lucknow (which is heavily influenced by the Persians and Turks) are seen as the epitome of civility and high society by many Indians whatever their creed and/or religion.
