Public Service Announcement:

we know a lot of families from our community will be celebrating and Mall of America is always a popular destination. As a reminder, Mall of America will have the Parental Escort Policy in effect starting Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to close and mall hours on Sunday(Eid Day) this week. We’ve learned from past Eids where children were left unsupervised. We are not daycare providers. It is your responsibility to look after your children. Please be cognizant of laws that govern when in a public place. Respect others visitor’s rights.
During those times, guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older. Anyone 21 years or younger should be prepared to show a Mall of America employee a photo ID card that verifies their age.

I was at the mall of America today, I didn't see a lot of Somalis like I did last year or this past Eid 2 months ago.


However I did see a few young boys, young men actually tall Ogaden looking wearing Khamis and walking around. I saw an odey with traditional macawiis. I mean I was like ….wtf?


anyway....who cares at least they didn't take over the mall as they do normally.

LOL Mall of America is the largest Mall in North America. Its not only a mall or shopping center, it is an entertainment center. They have Shark Aquarium, Disney land like rides and fun place with crazy rollercoaster, major shopping center, two major food court center large enough to fit thousands, Lots of Somali youth working there with their Hijaabs. lol


The place is so huge u need a map and expect to walk a lot, like u r circulating a state of the art stadium. lol Its a happy place. I have to go there at least 2 times a month
