I want to gloat cos our PL users here kept saying it won’t happen without them but this is only one of the things we need done by end of year. Constitution completed, debt relief, arms embargo being weakened significantly, defeating Shabaab, joining EAC.

EAC membership and IMF debt relief are now just waiting for board meetings and a vote. So those are pretty much compete

Constitution has finished it’s process and just needs to be debated and put to a vote next parliamentary sitting.

Arms embargo restrictions being relaxed was decided behind closed doors last security council which I covered but again our users here said it would never happen so just that big one left

IMF won’t loan us money only for us to then say we can’t pay you back. They will make sure we don’t borrow for operating costs but rather infrastructure that raises government revenue. I’m not worried about that.

If loan is forgiven and we get couple billion and at least xamar developed I don’t see problem . If we have fair govt and money shared with all regions even better.

Either way we have billion hanging over is in debt if it’s forgiven and we right back in debt with nothing to show for it joke is on cadaan people and Somalia back where it started before forgiveness

Would be a waste of money to spend loans on.

It should be spent on things like ports, factories, power plants etc
