Iranian airport hits unsafe heat index of 66 degrees Celsius(150 F)

The country's Persian Gulf international airport recorded a staggering heat index recently of 66 degrees Celsius, while U.S. climate envoy visits China in hopes of taking politics out of tough climate decisions.

This is historical

A city in Iran has experienced what is believed to be history's second highest temperature ever as a blistering heatwave lingered over the Middle East. The air in Bandar Mahshahr in the Persian Gulf recorded a sweltering "heat index" of 74°C (165°F) last Friday.11 Aug 2015

Then you have these weaklings who think Bosaso 40 degree(100 F) summer seasons is unbearable. 40 C isn't hot at all in a global context.

One thing people don’t often talk about is how people back foreign debt when it becomes too hot work and earn the money necessary for the repayment. I see major defaults coming in the future as temperatures keep rising.

Humanity has the tech to solve climate change easily, its just there is such a strong industry around fearmongering and misinformation that organized efforts become difficult

It's hot the closer to the shore you are. Usually the city people head inlands where it's usually cooler, especially around the mountains area.
In eyl it was not that hot 29c to 24c maybe good weather bosaso get 45+ is wild and they have mountains who's bright idea was it settle there 🤣🤣🤣

I think it's almost the same over there too. It reaches 35C when it peaks during midday in Eyl in the coming days. With that said, the temperature is not as important as humidity, which rather says more about the conditions and a better measurement to define how tolerable the heat is.

Bosaso needs to invest into lots of electricity backbone so it can take advantage of A.C. Plus it needs a work schedule 8 to 12 in the morning and 4-8. Here in Darwin Australia, they only have 2 seasons wet/dry but the temperature is always 35-40 C all year round and the whites work just fine 9 to 5.

Somalis are weaklings.

And there’s some actual xoolos who believe climate change is a myth
Only the beginning unfortunately. Global temperatures have been on the rise since the beginning of the industrial revolution and scientists have been warning about climate change for decades. Yet nothing is being done to solve climate change.

There's a popular parable about boiling a frog which is remarkably similar to the climate change crisis. If you put a frog in hot water - it immediately jumps out. However, when putting a frog in lukewarm water before slowly raising the water temperature to boiling water, the frog will stay there despite boiling to death. One would think that humans are smarter than frogs. Ironically however, we humans are slowly boiling our earth, and this parable is actually a myth (frogs will actually jump out of the boiling water). In a way, we humans really are collectively dumber than frogs.

White people are over-reacting because they can’t withstand heat by nature because of where they come from. Unlike Horners (and people in the Sahara countries) that have the ability to withstand heat.

The same way Horners can’t withstand cold that white people can.

Every human has the same amount of melanin stored in their body. Just darker toned people activate it more. But everyone needs sunscreen.
