If I did have kids in the far future, would it be irresponsible of me to raise them back in Somalia? Laascaanood is a safe city but what if by raising them there instead of the west I am depriving them of opportunities and a superior education?

give birth to them in the west, raise them back home till they are like 14 (high school age) so they can learn the culture, then bring them here so they can finish high school and uni and work as well. This way, they get the best of both worlds

What's wrong with raising them in the west?

Everything!!!! They will become Gaalo, Khaniis, and Feminazis. The western education system will indoctrinate your kids and steal them from you. :birdman:

I don’t know about Somalia per say but there are prestigious private international schools in Africa.

no because they would be behind socially and not know English, there is nothing to be gained by raising them in the third world, don't be foolish.

I said as strongly as I did because I wanted to influence your decisions as you were young, sorry if it came off as rude, its just somalis have this idea that they must fully commit to one of way of life in order to achieve their goals and not have balance sorry.

It's ok saaxib. You're probably right. It is better to raise them in the west because of the educational oppurtunities and work, but I have to be extra careful about what schools they go to and all that because I don't want to my kids exposed to degeneracy.

To achieve that balance my family could spend every summer in Somalia, my mom already does that.

what do you mean by "behind socially"? as for the english problem, you can put them in an international school. I am not suggesting you take them to an unsafe place obvisouly. There are many things to be gained from raising children in Africa then bringing them here for further education/work, so i'll list the few that come to mind.
1) it gives them a new perspective (kinda toughens them up and shows them the reality in Africa)
2) allows them to never forget where they came from (this is an assumption but i assume a child born in the west and raised there will probably view the west as home. So by the 3rd generation, they will probably forget their origins all together.). This intern leads them to empathize with how hard life is in Africa allowing them to feel a sense of "duty" in helping better their country
3) It teaches them Somali culture

this is perfectly fine and something I agree with that's normal.

yes I acknowledge all of theses things but it doesn't mean you have to condemn them to it, exposing someone to something means to show them temporarily, it has an end point, so instead take them in the summer and see what life is like but to set them back is unnecessary to achieve your goal.

You can raise them anywhere and you aren’t depriving of nothing. School is a toxic place where they indoctrinate your kids to become a trans and atheist. All education can be done online virtually from anywhere. I wish I took my kids to Somalia but I took them to the Middle East so close enough. I say F U to western education go for that if you want your daughter to become like that Netflix chick.

Year round here, summers in Somalia. tho that takes a lot of 💰. Also maybe having them attend islamic schools in America. My mother had me go to islamic school during my middle school and high school, kid is gonna have the American opportunities and still be in an islamic environment.

You can raise your kids anywhere in the world. Some people think moving back home automatically fixes everything. All you have to do is be a good role model and practice but you preach.
