You can raise well behaved kids with the same your akhlaaq and morals. If I did have kids in the far future, would it be irresponsible of me to raise them back in Somalia? Laascaanood is a safe city but what if by raising them there instead of the west I am depriving them of opportunities and a superior education?
give birth to them in the west, raise them back home till they are like 14 (high school age) so they can learn the culture, then bring them here so they can finish high school and uni and work as well. This way, they get the best of both worldsIf I did have kids in the far future, would it be irresponsible of me to raise them back in Somalia? What's wrong with raising them in the west?If I did have kids in the far future, would it be irresponsible of me to raise them back in Somalia? Laascaanood is a safe city but what if by raising them there instead of the west I am depriving them of opportunities and a superior education?
I don’t know about Somalia per say but there are prestigious private international schools in Africa. If I did have kids in the far future, would it be irresponsible of me to raise them back in Somalia? Laascaanood is a safe city but what if by raising them there instead of the west I am depriving them of opportunities and a superior education?
yes stop imposing your will on others you had a western education and opportunities and came to the stupid conclusion of raising them in Somaliland, please for the love of god allow them to make their own decisions. If I did have kids in the far future, would it be irresponsible of me to raise them back in Somalia? You're speaking about them as if they exist subhanallah calm down saaxib. Could have said yes and left it at that.yes stop imposing your will on others you had a western education and opportunities and came to the stupid conclusion of raising them in Somaliland, please for the love of god allow them to make their own decisions.
my friend mustafa was born in somalia raised in kenya till he came to america in middle school now he's in university.give birth to them in the west, raise them back home till they are like 14 (high school age) so they can learn the culture, then bring them here so they can finish high school and uni and work as well. no because they would be behind socially and not know English, there is nothing to be gained by raising them in the third world, don't be foolish.give birth to them in the west, raise them back home till they are like 14 (high school age) so they can learn the culture, then bring them here so they can finish high school and uni and work as well. I said as strongly as I did because I wanted to influence your decisions as you were young, sorry if it came off as rude, its just somalis have this idea that they must fully commit to one of way of life in order to achieve their goals and not have balance sorry. You're speaking about them as if they exist subhanallah calm down saaxib. It's ok saaxib. You're probably right. It is better to raise them in the west because of the educational oppurtunities and work, but I have to be extra careful about what schools they go to and all that because I don't want to my kids exposed to degeneracy.I said as strongly as I did because I wanted to influence your decisions as you were young, sorry if it came off as rude, its just somalis have this idea that they must fully commit to one of way of life in order to achieve their goals and not have balance sorry.
what do you mean by "behind socially"? as for the english problem, you can put them in an international school. I am not suggesting you take them to an unsafe place obvisouly. There are many things to be gained from raising children in Africa then bringing them here for further education/work, so i'll list the few that come to mind.no because they would be behind socially and not know English, there is nothing to be gained by raising them in the third world, don't be foolish.
this is perfectly fine and something I agree with that's normal. It's ok saaxib. You're probably right. To achieve that balance my family could spend every summer in Somalia, my mom already does that.
He’s saying they’re gonna come back and act like FOBS lmaowhat do you mean by "behind socially"? as for the english problem, you can put them in an international school. 1) it gives them a new perspective (kinda toughens them up and shows them the reality in Africa)
2) allows them to never forget where they came from (this is an assumption but i assume a child born in the west and raised there will probably view the west as home. So by the 3rd generation, they will probably forget their origins all together.). This intern leads them to empathize with how hard life is in Africa allowing them to feel a sense of "duty" in helping better their country
3) It teaches them Somali culture
yes I acknowledge all of theses things but it doesn't mean you have to condemn them to it, exposing someone to something means to show them temporarily, it has an end point, so instead take them in the summer and see what life is like but to set them back is unnecessary to achieve your goal.what do you mean by "behind socially"? as for the english problem, you can put them in an international school. You can raise your kids anywhere in the world. Some people think moving back home automatically fixes everything. All you have to do is be a good role model and practice but you preach. If I did have kids in the far future, would it be irresponsible of me to raise them back in Somalia? Take them to Islamic school thenIt's ok saaxib. You're probably right. It is better to raise them in the west because of the educational oppurtunities and work, but I have to be extra careful about what schools they go to and all that because I don't want to my kids exposed to degeneracy.
