Every interview or speech she gives tends to be taken out of context and unfairly scrutinized. Her work and intentions are being twisted constantly. It only seems more pronounced now because Mehdi is involved in her recent interviews. For example, a video where she was educating Somalis about their legal rights was twisted into an accusation of treason, and other times, mistranslations of what she was saying in “Af-Somali” were deliberately used against her. She even attended a Somalia Independence Day celebration where the former Prime Minister happened to visit and she met him, yet these rightwing lunatics accused her of an ethics breach even though the Mayor of Minneapolis was also in attendance and nothing was directed at him.

Honestly, she might benefit from avoiding hot-button topics or political controversies and instead focus on policy, highlighting her day-to-day work for her constituents and her accomplishments.


While it likely won’t stop the deranged obsession or slander from theese right wing/white/christian nationalists, it would help center her around her political base and reinforce her mission.

I just find it hilarious because it show's one glaring truth which is that ''Facists'' and ''right-wingers'' don't actually love their country, they hate it but in-love what they want it be in their minds.
