Do you understand how stupid you sound?

On average in Somalia, an illiterate woman will give birth to 6 kids, 1 of them will die after a few months because of complications during birth or infections, 1 will die because of another disease before they reach 5 (either pneumonia or diarrhea.). 1 of the remaining 3 will have stunted growths due to malnourishment, leading to diminished mental and physical development. The other 2 who survived and are somewhat healthy, if lucky will be able to go to school and learn how to read, and if even luckier will be able to find employment. And since over 3/4ths of Somalia are under 30 and are unable to find jobs, this makes them frustrated leads them prone to being swayed by Shabaab.

This is why there needs to be access to birth control in Somalia, with the regional governments heavily encouraging it. Even if Somalia's economy grows at 7% per year, it means f*ck all if our GDP per capita decreases

I don’t get why some people are jumping to the conclusion of having less kids. Have Iimaan we are Muslims after all. Allah provides. But yes birth control and spacing children would be great for many other reasons like the mums mental and physical health.

I see somalia like a body, arms, legs, organs etc. What we are lacking is a brain. A central point of control that utilises all of the different parts and makes them function as a whole. All of the regional efforts the article explored are commendable but inefficient. Everyone’s solving the same problem in their own little limited way. A central govt is required to utilise each regions resources efficiently. But there’s a bigger chance aliens will invade earth before we see that.

No. I have the research paper from the university of bristol showing everything including a map of the area don't support him because of clan related stuff. Why does it matter if he controlled a state or not. In the eyes of the world he was the president of Somalia and did this for money. He is alive right now and living well in fact working in the government. This is very concerning.
