I hate to hear politicians who have the power to make changes just sit around and go woe us as if they aren't part of the problem. I would've laughed as much at this if it came from HSM's mouth or any politician from the South.
Its a problem for Hawiyes because if RX gain access to control a port ( Baraawe or Marka) They will become independent of Xamar and its port causing a great decrease of Finances for HAG.
Today 50% of Xamar port users are RX which are getting taxed crazy money to use the port. For this reason if RX get a port in Baraawe or Marka HAG will lose influenfe on D&M as well as southern Dirs. They will lose out on a lot of money they currently make.
As for Daaroods from what ive seen they dont have a issue with D&M gaining access to a port of their own as it wont affect their finances.
As for SWS it is a Raxanweyn led State. It is a diverse state but majority D&M.
