I think we should become like the uk. The uk is made of 4 nations (England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland). This model of government could be key to the flourishing of somalis in general. As far I know previous to European clononaisation the federation of somalia was non existent. We lived amongst our own clans and had our own clans territories and kingdoms. This could explain why somalia the state has failed and why we never worked under one national government. This is idealistic not realistic btw. But say our neighbors collapsed kenya and ethopia. In state of there instability we could reclaim Nfd and Ogaden. This could become 5 soamli nations. Somalia, djbouti, somaliland, nfd and Ogaden. Each government could have there own leaders, political food changes.but we are one financial state who have the same economy. Each capital can be a lucrative financial trading hub. (Mogadishu, hargeisa, dire dawa, djbouti, garrisa. We could have one passport, one economy, different political nations. We could also get a new flag that embodies the new united stars of somalia and hold onto individual flags. We could trade as one, produce and export as one but still be our own independent nations who have there own leaders and politicians. I would call this Uns(United nations of somalis. Just an idea what do yal'l think this would be an ideal accomplishment of somaliweyn but still maintain our individuality.?
