Ibadi Islam

What beliefs do Ibadi Muslims hold that differentiates them from Sunni Muslims & is it true the Somalis of Dishiishe are Ibadis?

Currently, Oman is the only majority Ibadi nation, although Algeria also has a minority of Ibadi Muslims who are Mozabites.

@SOMALI GENERAL,

-They have fewer Hadith collections then Sunnis
-They believe the Quran was created whilst Sunni’s believe it is the uncreated.
-They don’t believe we will see Allah in the day of judgement
-They don’t raise their hands up when starting the prayer
-They believe sinful Muslims will stay in the hellfire forever
-They consider Qiyas (analogical reasoning) to be a Bidah
-They consider the first half of Abu Bakr and Umar’s rule as righteous, but consider the second half of Uthman and Ali’s rule as corrupt and full of fitna
-They are descendants of the Kharijites but aren’t as extreme.

Thanks for sharing sxb. I also heard they put Nation above the idea of "Khilafah" & don't consider the establishment of a Caliphate necessary.

Ibadis seem like a practical bunch in that respect.
