No, I moved to the UK in 1996, when I was 5.

it all comes down to the amount of sun you are exposed to. in CA, we get plenty of sunlight throughout the year that skin discoloration is common among people that live here. my face and arms are like 4 shades darker than my chest. you wont see any people with pale skin. even white people appear more tanned.
