I heard that in Ethiopia there's a program in where students from different ethnic groups are sent to different regions college it's a program they think that it will make students of different backgrounds will interact with each other and be proud Ethiopians together

Then why would you think these people are safer in a region that is dealing with insurgency and is the site of frequent attacks against Muslims than they are in their own country. Somalis are definitely not safer in the Amhara region then they are in most of Somalia.

I've considered visiting that place as well. I was worried though about language issues. Are you able to get around with just English or do you have somalis guiding you around?
