Yes. That is the lady in my profile photo. She lived in 1757-1806 with her husband and her best friend in a manage e troi union. For years i was baffled as to whether my duhcess was duped by this 'best friend' named Lady Elizabeth foster also know as "Bess"
The author of the biography of the duchess stated - Yes Bess was jealous. Because she ended up marrying the dude after the duchess died in 1806. Bess also had two bastards with the duke.
Through reading endless letters and analyzing- i have discovered- Bess was innocent.
Yes Bess is not an angel as she had ambitions, but this relationship was truly unique and loving. Mental illness also involved- the duchess suffered from anxiety and histrionics- and Bess suffered from eating disorder and mild drepression.
But overall i am delighted to discover- Bess was NOT a monster. In fact- she was a blessing for the duchess who although Angelic-like but was also very naughty!
