The final nail in Somalia's coffin was TPLF style federalism where like 10 different states all have their own 'president' but are actually corrupt warlords who are paid by NGOS. I don't know why Siad Barre didn't initiate re-education camps for the youth to clean their mind from this disease.
I think you will be surprised at what the future brings. There will be great chaos but also a grand opportunity to transform the country

Im happy with the way things are with the majority of pre-war Somalia, somalis were never united barring 1960-91 and even then ciise are Somali and have their own nation. My priority is the safety and development of the region of my ancestral homeland. I urge all somalis to focus of their own regions, without safety and stability there is no foundation to build upon.
Yeah Somalia will change insha Allah, but first we need a non somali as the president because clearly somalis cannot lead.

There's no "Qabayaled" but ethnic conflict and dispute as our so called "clans" or "tribes" don't like one but as different ethnic groups fighting among themselves for political power or influence similar to many sub saharan nations

The state that Somalia is in is Somali's fault and nobody elses and they are the only ones who can fix it. No Country or forgein entity will fix Somalia
Have some self respect and backbone ninyahow regardless of how hard-headed Somalis can be- asking for your ancestral homeland to be ruled by ajanabis who want nothing but destruction for it
He may have meant for other groups to be president that aren’t Somali by ethnicity but Somali by nationality and language. At least that’s how I read it.

Qabilyaad will die off as soon as the country develops and Somalis afford better economic opportunities. As it stands, the reason why qabil is so powerful is because not only are Somalis in crippling poverty but the government is inept and weak it cannot help its citizens. How does a Somali get protection without government? How can a Somali invest in anything without their property being stolen by mooryans? Qabil has you covered as a Somali can only rely on their clansman for their daily needs thus it serves as a safety net since they distrust the government and need qabil for a sense of security. When the economy grows and better job opportunities arise, Somalis will be happier and will care less for their qabil.
Somalis in the diaspora don't engage in any qabilyaad because qabil is useless in the countries they reside in. In Kenya, America, United Kingdom and more have governments that actually provide for their citizens and will at the very least, guarantee protection. Even highly decentralized Ethiopia does its job better than FGS at protecting its Somalis which is why Galbeed is thriving so much compared to Somalia.
