I was pretty horrified when I was first told that certain kinds of pugs, or I think all of them, can't even breed because of how much people have messed up their anatomy through breeding practices. Like they physically can't even mount a female cos of how out of whack their body is even though the instinct to breed is intact. They have to be artificially inseminated. Now I could almost stomach this if they were bred to be this way for a purpose like how some bulls are bred to be so absurdly muscular that they'd literally break a cow's hips if they mounted her cos that's been done for higher meat yields but these people f*ck up these dogs and leave them with breathing problems and all sorts of issues simply because they like how it looks. It. Is. Sick!
