Everybody lies, which ones are tolerable??
why do African Americans get offended when a model with straight hair styles her hair Afro in the name of cultural appropriation, but they go around and use relaxers to make their kinky hair straight and they buy weaves...?

Difference in history. Black women were forced to conform to white ‘culture’. With an Afro, you couldn’t even obtain a job. However, no one is forcing these white women to culture appropriate. They are doing out of their own free choice.

but afro dont belong to black people, you can do whatever you want with your own hair

This afrocentric had the audacity to tell me that black women relaxing their hair isn’t appropriating non black women because lions in Africa have straight hair too :ileycry:

Yes they are. Talk to black women and you’ll see that employers have told them to straighten their hair to make it look more ‘professional’. It just happens less in 2018 because of SJWs.

culture appropriation is pretty retarded really. Instead of being angry, i would be happy that someone else seems to want to dress or look like my own culture. As long as they're not insulting my culture, then i have no problem with them. :gaasdrink:

Afro Americans have an inferior complex. They like to culturally appropriate Egypt by saying they wuz kangs n shiet, but when a white dude dresses up as a basketball player in the 80's, for the kangs, this is wrong and cultural appropriation.

What about if they’re making money out of your culture whilst your people are still poor?

My people being poor has nothing to do with my culture, rather it has something to do with the country itself. If that person is making money from using my culture, then good for him. As long as he/she doesn't disrespect my culture, i have no problem with it. :fittytousand:

Who is outraged? Cadaan women wore similar hairstyles like this all the time during the 1970s and 1980s.

That isn't even a real fro it wouldn't make sense for someone to get angry. I legit saw this picture on Twitter recently. No AA was bothered fam. .
