Yes, this has always annoyed me. I would see non-Hijabi, non-Somali girls going to prayer rooms they didn't miss their prayers and carried themselves with class.

Meanwhile, you see would Somali girls with hijab, dancing in public, maybe not even praying.

Somalia has a culture of shaming and controlling the appearance of Somali women, but not about promoting real Islamic morals and behaviour. This is one of the reasons why Somali girls run away from Hijab and Islam altogether or act promiscuous whilst wearing it; due to this sexist hypocrisy.

Somalis just want to LOOK like Muslims, not ACT like it.

Firstly, it is hypocritical to wear Hijab like it's hat you can choose whenever you like, it is commanded by Allah SWT and is an obligation just like salat. Secondly you wrote "pray but not wear hijab". Your shortcomings in English grammar are not my fault, try reading over what you type before posting it.
