I cant wait to be a king in Jannah.

Allah please hurry up, this life is boring.

My favorite hadith:

For the believers there will be a true kingdom on which they will have full control, and whatever they desire will take place, no one will disobey them.

“Verily the people of Paradise are true kings.”

“And when you see there, you shall see blessings and a great kingdom.” (Surah ad-Dahr, 76:20)

It is also related that when the person having the lowest rank in paradise looks at his kingdom, it’s distance will be equal to a period of one thousand years, and even the Angels will not be permitted to enter it without his consent.

“On thrones facing each other.” (Surah as-Saffat, 37:44)
They will be guest of each other as stated in traditions. It is also related that daily in Paradise, one Ulul Azm Prophet (The five great Prophets) will come to visit the believer and will be a host to everyone. On Thursdays the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s)will be the host, and on Fridays Allah the Almighty Himself will invite all for food.

I personally am most excited to explore Jannah and to study it's topography. It's always been a fantasy of mine to venture into an unexplored region and document it in great detail. Alas i was born too late to explore the earth but at least there is Jannah waiting for me.

if you had to choose between exploring the world 1000 years ago vs exploring the universe 1000 years from now which would you choose? id honestly choose exploring the universe.

Don't feel certain that you'll make it just yet. Story of Imam Ahmed before his death:

“When death approached my father, I sat with him and in my hand was a scrap of cloth with which I wanted to tie his beard and he began to drift in and out of consciousness, then he opened his eyes and said, indicating with his hand: “No, not yet. No, not yet” And he repeated it three times. After the third repetition ,I said to him: Oh, my father! What is this thing which you have said at this time? You fall into unconsciousness so that we say that you have gone, then you return (to consciousness) and say: “No, not yet. No, not yet”

He said to me : Oh, my son! Do you not know?” I said: “No”.

He said :” Satan – May Allah’s curse be upon him – stood before me, he lowered himself on his knuckles and said to me:”Oh, Ahmad! You have eluded me.” But I replied: “No, not yet, not yet until I die.”

Correct me if im wrong, is shaytaan lying to imam Ahmed telling him that he is safe, giving him false certainty that he has earned the pleasure of Allah, Since that is basically kufr because that would make imam ahmed know what Allah knows?

How did you get to this conclusion?
Allah is the ultimate judge we can’t judge any muslim, know where they are going or if allah forgave your or not.

Jundab reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “A man said: By Allah, Allah will not forgive this person! Allah Almighty said: Who is he who swore by Me that I will not forgive someone? I have forgiven him and nullified your good deeds.”

Yes I think it is all of that minus the last part about kufr. If the shaytaan had lured him into a false sense of security and complacency, I don't think it would have constituted kufr.

I could be wrong about whether it is kufr but I have never seen that mentioned as something that nullifies one's Islam.

But a lesson we can take from the story is to strive until death and not to be lulled into that false sense of security and complacency.

I heard about a story of Sheikh Uthaymeen. I think it was from the documentary about him which is available with subtitles on the PeopleOfKnowledge youtube channel.

Anyways, the person said he was behind Sheikh Uthaymeen in a mosque and Sheikh Uthaymeen didn't realize anyone else was there. Then that he saw Sheikh Uthaymeen striking himself, I think on the leg, and reminding himself about the fire- warning himself. I think he was tired and motivating himself to get up and pray.

So my point is Sheikh Uthaymeen it seems, as well as Imam Hanbal- they feared for themselves and were not complacent in that way. So I think definitely we should fear for ourselves while also having hope in Allah's mercy.
