I just wanted to discuss the hypocrisy of Asian run mosques, they've spoken about a lot of disasters in the Middle East and their own countries while asking people to donate and raise funds to give aid to these countries but since the two big disasters happened within Morocco and Libya I've not seen the mosque I go to mention it once. it seems like any disaster that happens within Africa they seem uninterested in it and refuse to speak about it but as soon as something comes up in the Middle East like yemen for example they're the first to speak about it

They're focused on their own people and want to help them, take notes instead of believing in this one ummah non sense. Everybody watches out for their own and puts them first except african muslims.

Logic or consistency isnβt something you should expect from Somali gaalo or any westerner for that matter. The ummah is alive and strong, so many aid and charity programs running. Not only that we have zakat that we pay every year to poor muslims.Our masjid recently built a 3 storey orphanage in Afghanistan.Saying that Somalis don't put their own people first is delusional. Somalia collapsed because of Ethiopian backed jabhads. The current civil war is between the SFG and Shabaab, which are both foreign-controlled organizations. You could say that Somalia's demise is because of external forces as well.
I go to majority somali and asian masaajid, the asian/afghaan majority one I went to mentioned both the incidents in morroco and libya, they also do fundraising for places in africa all the time.

Ethiopia definitely did help lead to Somalia's dysfunction but it was not the root cause (politicization of clan). Al-shabaab didn't form until 2006

AS formed in response to the Ethiopian invasion. Anyways, the same could be said about all the other countries you mention, those countries all have societal issues that caused their dysfunction. Syria and Yemen have religious sectarianism, and Afghanistan has ethnic strife. The only country where foreigners are the only ones to blame for causing dysfunction is Libya.
