The amazing thing about Japan is that it had the same clan problem and feudal states Somalia has. It all ended with the huge Battle of Sekighara in which the all the clans of Japan split into two aliiances in a winner takes all. It was the tokugawa clan that prevailed in 1600 AD., ending the clan wars.

The amazing thing about Japan is that it had the same clan problem and feudal states Somalia has. It all ended with the huge Battle of Sekighara in which the all the clans of Japan split into two aliiances in a winner takes all. I wish we had a great war between clans in Somalia and then we'll stop for good killing each other..Just like the Japs.

I mean, planning war and killing millions of people while keeping calm and then demanding peace. Whites and Asians are good at it, Arabs and Africans war but they don't know how to plan a serious war.

The main difference is that the concept of a Japanese nation has always existed in the hearts of all the Japanese people & technically Japan was still one country with one Emperor when the feudal/clan wars were happening. The feudal wars consisted of various warlords fighting against each other for economic reasons.

Whereas, the concept of a Somali nation is relatively new and the clans have historically viewed each other as different "nations" and that there was never one Somalia prior to imperialism.

I admire the pride of the Japanese, they fought until the end and they had the best army but they were nuked..If we can learn something from them, it will be : unite all the clans or having a big giant war between them and the remaining clans will sign a peace treaty and maybe we'll have a unity in Somalia. Or we need a common enemy, maybe the Ethiopians?or the Kenyans? Just like Germany in the 1870's against France. Otherwise we will stay savages who fight each other.

I think we should take power in Somalia and then slowly brainwash the youth by changing their mentality

The Japanese and their commitment to their nation and work is most certainly inspirational. Somalia has in a way, avoided the concept of the survival of the fittest with people sending money back home and thereby crippling the people. We need to stop sending Money home and make people work

I agree. Its more of the concept that they are content with their lifestyle and dont seek any reason to change it

Its reached that the point that no one in Somalia is gonna bring about change. it will require members of the diaspora stir the flames of nationalism.

Its frustrating, I mean we need to have Our own Age Of Discovery and Conquests. We need to influence Mankind in some way or im gonna haunt Somalia after my death

Developing Somalia is crucial. Your Agriculture is something that is needed in Somalia so that we dont need to rely on foreign imports in case they decide to cut ties with us. Food independence as well as having Transportation systems such as trains and other factories is vital. Im working on Af Somali being able to take in Philosophical concepts and deep subjects. Eventually Af Somali will be Strong language that we enforce in Somalia and beyond

I have bought a book about Survivialism and how to survive in case of a nuclear war, a chemical attack,etc. And it is written in French..But I'll try to note what i will learn from this book and one day i'll teach to people in Somalia how to defend themselves.
We shouldn't be the lowest of the lower! We need to become an elite.
