@bidenkulaha to close the the trading of troops? I didn’t even know we had troops in Musevenis land. Uganda, Turkey, Eritrea, usa, uk training Somalias future military. How do you see these troops working with each other and their loyalty to 
? When do you think we can train our own troops on our own lan? And lastly how many soldiers are we gonna have before amisom/atmis leave? I want them out as soon as possible. They have over 15 years lived off our people misery

We need 15,000 new troops to take over from ATMIS by 2024. Currently Egypt, Uganda, Eritrea, Ethiopia are training 12,000. Of course this will take a lot of new funds as they all need to be equipped and paid.
Yes, I hope the military and security agencies will be professional and used correctly. I saw people being angry about HSM signing military agreements with the UAE. I feel Somalia is compromised with a lot of different countries in our business. I hope it only temporary until the whole country are free from al shabaab. I guess we have 15 000 currently and 12-15 000 being trained that’s almost 30 000 without Somaliand and Puntland troops? We have a big land with a mainland biggest coast line so we would need over 100 000 over the decade if we want to be independent. I’m curious how big our military was doing Siad Barres time? Oh what would we could have been

UAE are willing to fund a big part of the military to a level Somalia cannot and give them equipment we currently don’t have access to. Unfortunately with that you have to accept one sided agreements in the meantime as we are too broke to fund a mobile and effective SNA force of 24,000-30,000.Yes, I hope the military and security agencies will be professional and used correctly. Uganda, HSM observes military drills and graduation of troops trained there. Gives motivational speech to the boys who went out of their way, some doctors, to conscript and fight for our country. Also thanks UAE for supporting this training

Someone correct me, do have today 30 000 armed forces fighting AS or is it 17 000 in the country or 17 000 training abroad. What will be the total amount of armed force by end of 2024 when atmis/Amisom are leaving the country? A possible armed forces of 54-60000 + 40 000 police by end of 2024 sounds encouraging of finally securing peace in and that’s without puntland and Somaliland own troops I guess. The only problem is armed forces being trained and financed by different foreign countries with their own agendas in , but hey we are poor and desperate so…..

Currently have 18k, 15k are abroad training in Ethiopia, Eritrea, Uganda (just completed), Egypt. So 32-33k army very soon.@Garaadka @Mr. Wabrii @bidenkulaha @GaradShabeel @TekNiKo

This doesn’t include Danab, Gorgor which will probably increase that to 40k.
Then there’s the now 40k police. So altogether 80k+ to secure the South.
