Al Islah are not that bad imo. Many of their members were active amongst the civil society and returned to the country during its worst period following the civil war to reestablish the education sector. Puntland and Banadir benefited the most from their work. Deni used his own funds to rebuild primary and secondary schools throughout Puntland and HSM is also credited for doing the same along with being one of the founders of SIMAD university.
