The mayor of Mogadishu has landed in Tanzania. This is now his 70th foreign trip in less than 2 years. Astoundingly it's his 4th visit to Tanzania.

These trips have cost a very poor country on average $250K.

That's $16.5 Million wasted in 2 years while SNA frontline troops are barefoot and hungry.

With such enviable record, the 'president' can legitimately claim Guinness World Record in the frequent flier & corruption categories.

Lastly what does it when you visit a country and the leader of that country doesn't even have the courtesy or respect for you to visit back. He visited Djibouti and UAe 8 times each and none of them have visited Somalia.

Bingo…you hit the nail on the head. Completely agree, it’s mainly about 1. embezzlement and 2. If he personally goes, nobody else in the government knows exactly what he signed and what was agreed upon (stolen) so they can never oppose him. Many people have been wondering about this ridiculous travel schedule but this is the most plausible explanation.
