How would Somalia look if al shabaab conquered the country?

Lets just say Al-shabaab won the civil war and conquered Somalia. The west signs a treaty with them stating that as long as they stop commiting terrorist attacks they will be recognized as the legitimate govt of Somalia. How do you think the country would look?

It would be extremist. Multiple people will be stoned and beheaded in a day, they will look through your phone to find anything “incriminating” like a girl who isn’t a relative. Either way, life would be like hell and multiple people would escape. It will breed corruption, anarchy, Injustice, poverty, false convictions and multiple other crimes.

My theory is that the govt would be ran the same way alshabab runs their govt in the villages they control
This video gives us an idea on how al shabaab runs their villages. I believe they would impose strict sharia law, women would be opressed, schools wouldn't offer any academic courses but instead teach quran, islamic history and arabic.

It would be horrible but theoretically speaking less murders would happen. Al shabaab are behind pretty much all the bombings and murders so if they gain their goal of controlling the country they wouldn't need to do any bombings or murders. Also controlling the country is their endgoal and they wouldn't want to f*ck it up by killing a bunch of people and forcing the west to obliterate them.

The only positives I see to it is that drugs like khat would be illegal, no more bombings happening, ajnabi forces would be removed, and maybe less money-pocketing amongst govt officials. However infrastructure would be garbage, economy would be even worse than it is now (no one would want to do business with wahabi lunatics) and many people would be opressed.

To sum it up there would be positives to it but al shabaab would be MUCH MUCH worse than the current govt and their idea of sharia law is completely fucked up. Also they have way too much blood on their hands and the govt could get overthrown at any moment by angry civilians.

Im assumingssuming something like the ICU forms an administration over territories between Badhaxley Gaalkacyo to the Baajuni coast and Islands on the Kenya border. You completely missed my point al shabaab ruling the country= no bombings which= less murders can your monkey brain comprehend that? I hate alshabaab and do not support them at ALL. All of them should be murdered in cold blood but im just stating the facts of what would most likely happen and im not letting my emotions get in the way.

There would be less murders which is a positive but more people would die in general due to other causes like starvation and diseases so it cancels it out and makes it worse. Just because im willing to question terrorist groups motives and question what a state ruled by them looks like does NOT make me a terrorist sympathiser.

@Shmurda @Teeri-Alpha @General Asad I didn't want to 'expose' shabab as I don't focus on it much but 'clan matters' but from what I gathered shabab isn't here to control Somalia but for foreign purposes only, the foreign backer want to keep americans busy world wide and deplete it's taxpayers money globally till their expended, they have no intentions of ruling Somalia, well not the 'foreign backers'.

The locals however who are disenfranchised or black listed by the CIA especially HG and their 'allies' in the business sector(bosaso n mogadishu) mainly see it as good investment to keep the nation state less and in conflict. HG siiba 'cayr' is the main beneficiary but other clans who are involved in the market place also have a 'stake' financially to lose(bosaso and bakaraha players).

They recruit clans from the south especially among the .5 as their easy territories to capture and control and use as soldier supply while the leaders are all mixed to make it appear like it's some national thing kkkk but the 'founder' is HG, while the board are 4.5 kkkkk.

PPL sneak in and join it for clan motivated 'reasons' as a way to be 'tribal' without raising alarm bells they just call u 'gaal' or watever to shut u down. They know if they are recognized as govt of somalia, their will be civil war of epic porportions as somalis will break up into north-east islamic faction, galmudug faction, jl faction, sheekadu waa 'qabil' in somalia, so they know they stand no chance to rule this place kkkk. Federalism is the only hope bro and there is ppl who still refuse it.
