How was it for somalis growing up late 90s early 2000s

Anyone want to share their stories? Everywhere in the diaspora is allowed, Like Minneapolis, Daygo, Uk, Canada, Sweden etc etc. How was the community, Representation in media. Anyoen remember the somali house parties we used to have back in the day? what happened to them?

Nah wallahi , dont think majority were born here at all, during the late 90s or early 2000s. I think its the beggining of 2010s that happened, and even know i think most are fobs especially in minny, thats fob central

Somali, is a race
There was no such a thing as a Somali community in the early 2000s because we lived in a city where finding a person of color, let alone a somali, was like finding a needle in a haystack. And it was for the best, till somalis started coming slowly and immediately started to turn the place into a mini clannist state. Thankfully, we got out in time, and now all we hear is how they turned the whole city into a sewer. I dont know about house parties I was too young.
