How to rekindle faith

Alluring

I'm struggling with my Iman these days. My mind keeps becoming clouded with doubts in Allah. I'm trying to put my faith in Allah but it's not working the way I want it too. I can't help but question what is the reason behind people suffering.

Every time I see an ad talking about children dying, I cannot but question why won't Allah help them. Everyone always says it's a "test" but why do only certain people get tested while certain people never worry. Why do Muslim countries suffer, while non Muslims don't?

I understand that I will never grasp Allah's reasoning. I don't know, maybe I'm depressed.

Any ideas on how to dispel these doubts and strengthen my faith? I would really appreciate it.

Always thought like this until I realized that as much as you'd like to believe, you are human. You cannot understand. For me, the predictions of the world ending etc are way too accurate to be false. Hold on let me link the answer to your question "why wont allah help"

@Alluring some people get the worst of the worst in this Dunya. They suffer in this dunya but they get the greatest gift, Jannah. Akhira.

Abu Musa reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “This nation of mine has been granted mercy. Their punishment is not in the Hereafter. Their punishment is in the world, in the form of persecution, earthquakes, and slaughter.” Source: Sunan Abī Dāwūd 4278 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani
The Prophet (saw) said:“No calamity befalls a Muslim but that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it, even if it were the prick of a thorn.” (Bukhari, Muslim).
The Prophet (saw) said:“The people who face the most difficult tests are the prophets, then the righteous, then those following them in degree. A person is tried according to his religion. So if there is firmness in his religion, then the trial is increased, and if there is a weakness, then it is lightened. Verily a trial remains with a servant until he walks the earth having no sin left upon him”(Bukhari).
The Prophet (saw) said: “Whenever Allah wills good for a person, He subjects them to adversity”. (Bukhari). Why? Because if the servant reacts with Sabr (patience) and contentment with Allah’s decree, it brings them closer to Allah. And “Allah loves the Patient” (Surah 3: 146)

Thank you
There was this hadith that said that when allah was making us, our souls, he pulled us all out from Adam and gathered us in rows. Each and every one of humans. He asked if you wanted this dunya, you reply; yes. You want to EARN jannah after seeing how beautiful it is.

You chose this life.

And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear and hunger, and loss of wealth, loss of life, loss of fruit and crops, but give glad tidings to the patient ones
“Those who, when afflicted with calamity, say: ‘Truly! To Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return.’”

“We tested them with good times and bad that perhaps they would return [to obedience].” (Al-A’rāf 7:168)

“Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea due to what the hands of people have earned so He may let them taste something of the consequence of what they have done that perhaps they will return [to obedience].” (Ar-Rūm 30:41)

“And verily, We will make them taste the near torment (the trials in the life of this world) prior to the supreme torment in the Hereafter, in order that they may repent and return [to obedience].” (As-Sajdah )32:21

Do people think once they say, “We believe,” that they will be left without being put to the test?

We certainly tested those before them. And ˹in this way˺ Allah will clearly distinguish between those who are truthful and those who are liars.

Ask Allah to guide you and to keep you firm. Pray salat and read Quran. Suffering in this world is like a blink on an eye compared to the eternity of the afterlife.
