How To Fight The Drugs/Alcohol Flooding Being Executed In Somalia

It is well known that a number of countries who are hostile to Somalia well-being are sending in drugs/alcohol to turn the population into the aborigines of Australia model or what the british did with Chinese opium trade. This tactic was created by the British who would always poison natives of various countries they were interested in colonizing or settling. This tactic is now used by everyone as a weapon against another country.

The chinese till this day are very strict against drugs because they saw what it did to their ppl and how it facilitated their land-losses like hong kong to the british. I don't think the way Somalia is fighting this will produce any positive results. The only way to win this war is thru regulating it or else it will go black-market and that is more dangerous since anything can happen in the black-market.

With regulations Somalia can at least inspect the standards and quality to ensure their is no poison added, but if it's in the black-market who will perform this task. The current police raids being done sounds good as an IGU SAWIR, but it won't even touch 1% of the drug/alcohol market, 99% still exist/thrive.

So those igu sawir raids done by the police needs to end. Somalia needs to Legalize it and then control it, which is far better approach at least then it will come thru authorities to do their checks and ensure it's not poison. The approach they have taken now is putting locals at risk who can easily source these things but it's quality is very low becuz their no govt inspection and is possibly going to lead to more problems in the future.

Legalize alcohol is!!? we already struggling with qat and millions lost to outside countries. It’s up to local to stop these bad practices. Galdogob got tired of no one doing anything and started own police. No point waiting somali govts weak and have no reach. Alcohol destroys and attracts bandits and criminals

You can go down the route of police raids n banning but it won't stop the flow or even touch 1% of the black market, plus ur adding more risk by banning it, since it will go to black market and more poison will be added cuz their no govt inspection of it which will effect ur ppl further. Banning sounds nice, but it hasn't produced any result.

We Muslim country can never legalize it people will rise up against the govt. I can’t wait for ATMIS to leave and real war for Somalia begins winner take all. We will then have real peace and negotiations. 2030 I will take road trip from bossaso to kismayo god willing

When u legalize it, u then can inspect it for quality as it will come thru authorities to check over. Plus u add high taxes so ppl can't afford it, that's more realistic, then these igu sawir raids capturing 100 bottles when another 1 million bottles exist in black market and is far lower quality also.

It's a shame when a bottle of gin(low grade) is cheaper then bottle of water in Somalia which will boom in it's trade to locals? why cuz it's in the black market and their no govt taxes or inspection of it's quality becuz why? it's ILLEGAL, ur shitty illegal law has created more of a BOOM.

U have these idiots promoting going down the same route of igu sawir raids of 100 bottles while millions exist untouched. U got idiots who still use 'empty words' as solutions such as 'somalinimo' in politics or we r muslim country as if that will change the on-ground reality.

We should take the Singapore or Saudi Arabia route. There isn’t a drug/alcohol culture besides khat in Somalia. Legalising it could create one. Before we have a population hooked on this substance a hard block will curb any potential drug/alcohol epidemic.

In Singapore the penalty for possessing drugs is a maximum of 10 years' imprisonment, or a fine of $20,000 or both

No one is willing to import drugs if the penalty is capital punishment.

there is a huge drug problem in Saudia, in fact large amount of Syria's and Hezbollah fentanyl production goes to Saudia.
