How should I read Al Shabaab in my story

How should I write them in my story ? I’m leaning towards showing them as neutral . I don’t want to be disrespectful because I acknowledge that I’m very Americanized and didn’t grow up Muslim. I see a lot of similarities with IRA and the tea party. A majority of the characters will be Sunni Muslim/Somali spirituality. The major Christian group being shown will the Berber version I grew up called Donatism.

No, I grew up catholic, was atheist for 25 years, now I follow the Abrahamic God with animalistim influences. My feelings on Islam are mixed. I do believe that Sharia Law is needed in the African American community. I feel like it’s a reaction to all the sin is now being celebrated and encouraged. But I don’t believe that Islam is a super peaceful hippie religion. My republican friends hate to admit that Islam has more conservative values than most modern versions of Christianity. Neoconservatives like Jeff Sessions just want a Christian version of Sharia Law. I was taught that the NOI version of Islam is blasphemy . From my understanding, Somali has the our version of Islam, no ? I know for a fact that Berbers do and the Arabs were extra salty about. They were upset that the Tuareg men covered their face . Fuckin nosey asshats!!!! Lol

please don't stan shabaab, they are really bad people that are responsible for the death of thousands of innocent people. They use mentally unstable youth to carry out these suicide bombings and justify it by using the religion. I hope you take that in to account and change ur views.

My rough concept is that it’s a trio of Al-Shabaab flunkies that are like a more violent and efficient rival to the heroes. The leader will Qori Ismaris, they’ll be were hyenas and will be a node to the hyenas from the Lion King. They’ll also have an emo look . They’re idiots, but loyal. I’ll write Al Shabaab as wrong, but also show why people turn to extremism . Honestly, I think Al-Shabaab targets government and people that are targeted by them work with the government. I haven’t studied that much yet, but for some reason I feel USSR or some cave niglet tried to intervene in Somalia’s affairs or something like that.
