That's wrong most do it with those there close to. Think about it if your husband married you to an extent your sister/mother and relatives in general are probably his type and same visversa. If he gets close with them and is left alone with them it could lead to an affair and that's what tends to happen for the most part. Most affairs are done with those that are close

I trust my siblings. More than a potential spouse. I have known them my whole life and they showed loyalty but the other for a shorter duration and have not shown their hand/proved themselves over the years.

They (my siblings) are dayones. I don't have same sex siblings and very much don't care. Anyone raised with me would likely share similar values and put family on top. Given the respect, honesty, integrity and trust that has accrued over the years.
