How modern life is making men infertile

Sperm concentrations in western countries:
1972: 99 million/ ml
2011: 47 million/ ml
2021: 40 million / ml

Below 40 million/ ml is considered low sperm count... making pregnancy increasingly difficult. Meaning... if this trend continues, the birth rates will be lowered drastically.

Suggested causes of this decrease: Plastics, pesticides

A western woman in her 20s today is less fertile than her grandmother at 35.
A western man today has only half the sperm his grandfather had.

Conclusion: The crackers are screwed and their population will probably go extinct... I guess that cracker "genocide" this wasn't so fake after all :ftw9nwa:

Conclusion #2: Us Western Somali's need to be careful... we consume the same shit they do.

Interesting. It's almost automatically assumed that fertility problems is mostly the women's fault.

However, most people are not trying to have 8+ kids in these days. So among 40million sperm I'm sure he can muster a few healthy ones to father healthy babies.

Some of this can be put down to lifestyle factors (e.g. diets, weight, less exercise).

But environmental chemicals are a huge factor, especially chemicals originating from fossil fuels. There's too many endocrine-disrupting chemicals in modern society - everything from phthalates, to pesticides, to persistent organic pollutants.

All endocrine-disrupting chemicals need strong regulation - and that's not the case rn.

Agreed!
Hence why there are abnormal rates of hormone dysfunction in the west… this stuff seeps into the food chain.

Sexism.

women used to get blamed for having female children… science discovered it’s the father that decides the child’s gender 😂

but this infertility problem is happening in both men and women sadly. Hopefuly Africa doesn’t get affected by it as much
