But don't deny ppl sugar sxb, part of being a good Muslim is to look after a guest and host them well.

The sugar thing is a bit of exaggeration. i have fallen into that trap more then a decade ago once never again, if your going to give money to someone close without wanting anything back from them that's okay, but lending them money is a no go.
